Adopting a DevOps culture to delivering continuous business value using people, process and technology
Thursday September 23rd 2021
Containers and the container-centric approach to application lifecycle management has fast become an industry standard, supplanting n-tier virtualized infrastructure. OpenShift has a leading position in a flourishing market of enterprise Kubernetes-based product offerings.
Based on the real-life experiences, practices, and culture adopted in Red Hat Open Innovation Labs, Tim Beattie will take you on a journey on how to learn, understand, and apply many different practices – some people-related, some process-related, some technology-related – to make DevOps adoption and, in turn, container platforms a success within the enterprise.
Tim will share some excerpts from his recently published book, DevOps Culture and Practice with OpenShift, which provides a combination of real-world stories, a fabricated use case, facilitation guides and the technical details of how to implement it all. He’ll also talk about the book’s inclusion of cats, dinosaurs and dragons (!) and will be giving away a hard copy to a member of the audience picked out of a (red) hat!
